One workspace per task
Each agent works in its own git worktree on its own branch, so agents do not overwrite each other.
Parallel coding agents. Mac first.
Vera gives Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode a separate git worktree and branch for every task. Chat with your agents, review their diffs, then open a pull request or merge.
Vera is coming soon. Free local workspaces on your Mac; hosted workspaces in early access.

01 / Bring your work
Start with a local copy.
Keep an archive you control.
Right-click a cloud workspace and choose Transfer to local. Do this before November 13, when cloud becomes read-only.
In Conductor, go to Settings, then Account, then Export data, and keep that archive.
Point Vera at your Conductor workspaces. We import the worktree, the branch, and the setup, run, and archive scripts from .conductor/settings.toml or the older conductor.json, plus files to copy and port ranges.
Meta acquired Conductor (Melty Labs) on November 4, 2026. New sign-ups and downloads have stopped. The local Mac app continues with new models and critical fixes until early 2027, then winds down.
02 / Keep working your way
Parallel agents.
A separate workspace for each task.
Local workspaces run on your own Mac. Your chats go to your model provider, and Vera does not upload your code for local work.
Each agent works in its own git worktree on its own branch, so agents do not overwrite each other.
You chat with the agent, review the diff with line comments, check CI and pull request status, then merge.
You run Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode using the logins and plans you already have.
Vera imports setup, run, and archive scripts from your Conductor settings, so a new workspace starts runnable.
Your free local workspaces run on your Mac and local chats go to your own model provider, with no code uploaded by Vera for local work.
Agents run in isolated Cloudflare microVMs and keep working when your laptop closes.
Vera runs hosted agents in Cloudflare Sandboxes, which are Cloudflare Containers. Each container runs in its own Firecracker microVM, with its own kernel and network. Instances start on demand and sleep when idle; there is no persistent server to SSH into and maintain.

No. We are an independent alternative. “Import from Conductor” means we can read your Conductor workspaces and settings, with your permission, on your machine.
No for local work. Local work stays on your Mac. Hosted work runs in an isolated microVM, and you choose hosted per workspace. Hosted: Early access
Conductor says it will begin deleting cloud user data then. Transfer to local and export before then. We cannot recover data after Conductor deletes it.
Mac first, like Conductor. Windows and Linux are planned later through the open source base. We are not promising a date.
Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, and OpenCode at launch.
The local orchestration is based on open source tools, forked with their licenses kept intact. The hosted service itself is operated by us. Read the licenses link coming soon.
